Founder's Story

Hi there! I'm Meng. I have always been fascinated by the stories we leave behind and the ways we choose to record them. My early training in traditional drawing and painting naturally drew me into the world of art history, while my academic studies in English literature taught me how language and culture shape our world.

In 2013, Greg (my husband) and I relocated to his native country, France. Being surrounded by such rich European history only deepened my lifelong passion for the past. 

Over time, I found myself wanting to share that fascination with others, but I needed the right medium. I eventually realized that everyday apparel was the perfect canvas to bring the past into the modern world. Designing history-inspired apparel became my way to connect with this passion, uniting my love for art and history. It allows me to meet like-minded people (like you) and share the stories we care about.
